Well at first, I was only to do an update about AWA, but I am also going to talk about the flood in Georgia as well. When I got up this morning, I said "It is good we are getting a lot of rain." Especially, since the news people is always talking we need more, but this is ridicule. This is my first time staying in north Georgia, I moved about 45 minutes away from Atlanta or is it 30 minutes away from Atlanta. But wait that is not the point!
People killed
I found out that the flood across Georgia has claimed six lives, Sad is it? So sad! One live it claims was a toddler. That broke my heart, when I read that online. He was swept away from his home by floodwater, the flood ripped him out of his mother’s arms.
The second live the flood claims was a man. His was killed when his vehicle was swept off by floodwater.
The third live the flood claim was a woman. She was killed when she tried to driving through standing water in Gwinnett County and her vehicle was swept away.
And the flood claim at least three other people, they were killed by rising water across metro Atlanta. I don’t know too much about their story.
Some people are stupid
A Tennessee man tried to swim over a flowing ditch on a dare and was swept away. DID YOU HEAR ME? A DARE! WHAT THE HELL! That all I know!
Systems down
And as I was coming home, there was car that drove in drain. He seen okay. Two cars had an accident on the freeway, no one seen be hurt, just their cars.
Accident I seemed
If you are trying to use credit card or debit card in the gas station, their systems are down. My fiance and I had a lot problems trying to a found a gas station with working ATM system, so we could get gas to get home.
Road closed
Flooding has shut down roads, highways and intersections across metro Atlanta Monday morning, including all lanes and ramps of I-85 and I-285 at Spaghetti Junction. Cobb County had almost 100 roads closed due to flooding and downed trees. DAMN I STAY NEAR THAT COUNTY A mudslide shut down Highway 78 at Hugh Howell Road in DeKalb County. I always heard of flood warnings, but I never stay in an area where flood are. As I was riding home two day, I seen areas where there normally no water, flooded and that is scarily. The main street by our apartment was flooded. The freeway that is around the corner, highway 575 from us was flooded and they had to shut down all lanes. They reopened that yesterday. Highway 20 is still under water. And I think Six Flags is still underwater. It sound like more half of the park is underwater.
Student evacuated school
Hundreds of students at Clarkdale Elementary in Austell were evacuated just before 1 p.m. because of flooding. Water had already floated two portable units on the school grounds.

My fiance
I asked my fiance not go back to work but he went any way. It normally took us 15 minutes to get to work and back and it took an hour. If you think traffic is bad, no it is bad. And to top it off, there are still dumb asses driving like fool. Yes! I said dumb asses. If you are driving like a fool or speed on roads and then you are one too. There is a reason they said don't speed, along with other things.
Be safe
I prayed for everyone safely, and don’t be stupid. Drive safe and be caution. I am scared, I never experience nothing like this.
I guessed I will write about AWA in another journal, I liked before be safe!
